Position Summary

The Account Executive is a key contributor to our Sales and Marketing team. You will be responsible for acquiring new clients and driving revenue growth. This role is suitable for a professional with a solid background in sales and customer management.


Essential Functions/Responsibilities

The Account Executive is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to secure new business and drive revenue growth.
  • Lead the development of the sales process, including selecting and implementing sales tools.
  • Play a substantial role in shaping the sales strategy and providing accurate sales forecasts.
  • Execute sales opportunities, targeting both new and existing clients. 
  • Manage and expand the sales pipeline.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships, understanding their operational needs and technical challenges, and delivering maximum value from our products and services.
  • Exceed revenue-oriented quotas.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to drive a seamless onboarding process for new clients, ensuring an in-depth understanding of their objectives, requirements, and long-term expectations.
  • Partner closely with our technical teams, including solutions architects and engineers, to craft and present advanced solutions that align seamlessly with the client's technical needs and project goals.
  • Develop and maintain strategic, long-lasting relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact for all AccelByte solutions.
  • Serve as a bridge between clients and technical teams, proactively facilitating effective communication and ensuring that evolving client needs are met across the project lifecycle.
  • Take the lead in managing and coordinating complex projects, including in-depth timelines, critical milestones, and deliverables, all aimed at ensuring the successful implementation of solutions.
  • Maintain advanced levels of clear and regular communication with clients, providing comprehensive updates on project progress, technical advancements, and industry trends.
  • Play an active role in contract renewals and negotiations, setting the stage for lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with clients while driving business growth.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications/Experience Required

  • Bachelors or relevant work experience or certification/courses.
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales, account executive/management, or any similar role, with a preference for experience in the Technology/SaaS industry.
  • Experience with CRM products (contact, pipeline management, and actively maintaining good CRM hygiene).
  • Experience in Office Suite (PPT, Excel, Word).
  • Passion and interest in the game industry
  • Strong experience in customer communications, managing expectations, and providing transparency to clients.
  • Experience in verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in developing short and long-term sales plans and comprehensive sales strategies.
  • History of effective event participation and support.
  • Proven track record of progressing and closing opportunities.
  • Ability and desire to learn AccelByte products and services such that they can be an effective sales person.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and think critically.
  • Flexible in adjusting to shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects effectively.
  • A keen interest in staying updated on industry trends.
  • Maintain the highest standards of personal conduct and handle confidential information discreetly.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and an aptitude for building strong working relationships.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and growth.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, as needed.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English language.
  • Flexibility to adjust to work routines/schedules.
