We are growing fast and looking to hire an Account Executive to grow our sales team focusing on brands and agencies. From your first day, you will have the opportunity to make a valuable contribution to the team. We are focused on growth, scrappiness, and innovation, and looking for someone who has the drive and passion to help us put it all together and crush it in market. 

We are seeking a high performing individual with strong initiative and a passionate drive for data and the programmatic space to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and be motivated to play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders at brands and agencies, and helping them derive value from Proximic’s best in class audience and contextual targeting assets.

What you'll do:

  • Own the sales cycle for programmatic buyers and agency trading desks with a drive to consistently meet and exceed revenue expectations

  • Identify sales opportunities across the Proximic business with key partners by prospecting and managing an account base – this includes both uncovering new opportunities and driving account growth.

  • Hunt new contacts / prospect new clients within named prospect account list

  • Educate and reinforce Proximic’s value proposition through key messaging and providing deeper understanding of benefits to clients of Proximic’s solutions

  • Act as programmatic subject matter expert: partner with Comscore measurement sales counterparts to uncover new opportunities and support account growth

  • Understand the evolving market, including buyer needs, programmatic industry trends, and the competitive landscape

What You'll Need:

  • 3-5 years’ working in the programmatic, data driven targeting, or ad tech/mar tech space (hands on keyboard trading experience is a plus!)

  • Experience working with/at agencies, agency trading desks, advertising data vendors, and programmatic buying teams

  • Track record and demonstrated success in consistently exceeding sales goals

  • Robust working knowledge of the advertising technology and programmatic landscape and ecosystem (DSP's, SSP's, DMP's, Ad Servers, 3rd Party Data)

  • Demonstrated success in growing and retaining business. Highly skilled in building trust by understanding client objectives and recommending best practices

  • Ability to quickly grasp and adapt in a fast-paced technology, data-driven environment

  • Strategic thinker

  • Sense of humor and can-do attitude are a must

  • Rolodex of industry contacts

  • A scrappy, roll up your sleeves mindset

  • Excellent people skills to interact with colleagues, clients, and third parties

  • Compensation: $105,000 - $115,000 Base Salary + Target Incentive; commensurate with experience.
