DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:

The Premium Season Ticket Department's primary role is to generate revenues for the Boston Red Sox by selling season tickets within club areas at Fenway Park—Dugout, Dell Technologies, Aura Club, and Aura Pavilion. The department focuses on prospecting via outbound new business efforts and hosting prospecting events at Fenway Park.


POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Premium Season Ticket Account Executive (PSTAE) focuses their time and efforts on prospecting through internal ticketing sources and external business contact information. In addition, the PSTAE serves as part of a team of Account Executives who collaborate on lead generation, strategy, and prospecting events held at Fenway Park during the year. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop new leads through cold calling, emails, texts, and referrals.
  • Minimum of 100 outbound sales activities per day, including 7 weekly appointments, in person or via virtual meetings.
  • Close new business at a high level with a focus on C Suite, B2B, and High Net Worth prospects.
  • Provide excellent customer service to prospects and current clients over the phone and at games.
  • Represent Fenway Sports Group, and the Red Sox positively and professionally at all times.
  • Meet and exceed goals set by the Vice President and Manager of the Premium Season Ticket Department.

CHARACTERISTICS / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-4 years of successful new business prospecting experience with results selling to the VP and C-Suite level.
  • Prior sales or customer service experience is required.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Provenue, and Outreach (or equivalent e-mail automation) preferred.
