About the Job
We’re looking for a motivated Account Executive (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and support its go-to market strategies. In your day-to-day work, you’ll ensure that our portfolio company’s business-critical services are optimised and get the opportunity to contribute to various projects.
Join our portfolio company: Founded in 2021 with its HQ in Berlin/Germany, the company runs a trailblazing marketplace that redefines one of the largest supply chains on earth. The company’s mission is to unlock the vast potential of cross-border supply for the Western Market by providing global access to high-quality products through their innovative platform. Since the launch in January 2022, the firm has operated discreetly with no public profile or media coverage while it has already successfully served hundreds of companies.
In this role, you’ll:
- Facilitate and oversee transactions on the marketplace to ensure seamless trade between buyers and suppliers
- Collaborate with both buyers and suppliers to address any issues, inquiries, or challenges that may arise during the trading process
- Stay informed about market trends, product demand, and industry dynamics to make informed trading decisions
- Conduct regular analysis of trade data and provide insights to enhance trading strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both buyers and suppliers to foster long-term partnerships
- Address any concerns or feedback from clients and work towards effective problem resolution
- Work closely with the technology team to provide feedback on platform functionality and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure all trades comply with relevant regulations and internal policies. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and contribute to the development of compliance protocols
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus
- You have prior experience in Business Development, Sales, Key Account Management, or Account Management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- You demonstrate excellent German skills and strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- A basic understanding of national and international trade and supply chain management is a plus
Please note that we are looking for support in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
