As our Account Executive (Financial Partnerships – Superannuation), you’ll play a pivotal role in driving growth within the financial services sector. You will lead the acquisition of new partnerships, with a primary focus on large Superannuation funds, pitching, negotiating, and securing contracts with some of the largest players in the industry.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that will involve building strong relationships, developing innovative solutions, and driving our strategic partnership initiatives.

As our Account Executive (Financial Partnerships) you’ll be responsible for:

  • Partnership Acquisition: Develop and execute a strategic plan to acquire new financial partnerships, focusing on major Superannuation funds across Australia.
  • Enterprise Sales: Lead the end-to-end sales process for large-scale enterprise partnerships, from initial outreach to closing high-value deals.
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Pitch, negotiate, and secure complex enterprise arrangements with senior stakeholders within the financial services industry.
  • Collaboration & Strategy: Work closely with internal teams, including product, legal, and finance, to create tailored partnership models and ensure seamless execution.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay ahead of trends in the Superannuation industry and use your knowledge to position Employment Hero as a key player in the market.
  • Market Penetration: Identify and explore growth opportunities within the financial services ecosystem to deepen Employment Hero’s impact and market share.
  • Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers at major Superannuation funds.

What you will bring

  • A proven track record of closing enterprise deals in a B2B sales environment, ideally within financial services, fintech, or Superannuation.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic partnership initiatives with enterprise clients.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure complex, high-value contracts.
  • Knowledge of the Superannuation industry or financial services is a plus.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with C-level executives.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for identifying new business opportunities.
