As an Account Executive, Expansion at Triple Whale, you will be responsible for nurturing and growing client relationships through strategic upselling and cross-selling, using a data-driven approach. Your role involves identifying opportunities to expand accounts, setting up calls, making compelling offers, and ensuring continuous growth and client satisfaction. While this is a sales role, it relies on a customer success mindset. This role will begin as an Individual Contributor with an opportunity to build a team as the process scales.


Key Responsibilities: 

*Account Monitoring: Regularly monitor accounts to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

*Opportunity Contextualization: Understand and contextualize upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Proactively find ways to drive more value for clients, make them happy, and grow their businesses.

 *Customer Understanding: Gain a deep understanding of customer setups, goals, and needs.

*Automation Playbooks: Develop automation playbooks triggered by account activity to suggest higher plans or additional features that align with their goals.

 *Informed Offers: Successfully represent Triple Whale in negotiations with key decision makers, presenting offers that are well-informed by customers’ goals, needs, and recent activities.

*Tracking and Reporting: Track and analyze account activity, including license utilization, product usage rates, and customer effort scores, creating detailed reports

* Churn Mitigation: Collaborate with the Customer Success team to mitigate churn risks and enhance upsell or cross-sell opportunities.


Skills and Competencies: 

*Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in SaaS Sales, Customer Success, or Account Management

*Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to transform customer interactions into business-driving relationships.

*Sales Acumen: Strong sales skills, capable of analyzing and cross-referencing customer goals, usage patterns, and product setups to create tailored offers

*Emotional Intelligence: High emotional intelligence and empathy to understand and address customer needs effectively

*Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills.

*Analytical Marketing Mindset: Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented approach, supported by a desire to understand DTC Marketing Strategy.

*Self Starter: Ability to tackle projects with little direct input or oversight; work withuncertainty and manage through many priorities and opportunities at once.
