Account Executive – Business Development, Enterprise Sales

Role summary 

 

Equinix, the world’s leading digital infrastructure provider, is seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join our high-performance sales team. This individual will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by leveraging their expertise in enterprise sales, strategic planning, and relationship management. 

 

An opportunity for a results-oriented sales professional with an acquisition, hunter mindset to engage with prospect and inactive accounts (predominantly UK-HQ’D industries), identify customer challenges, to deliver impactful digital transformation solutions. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional sales acumen, resilience, and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to meet ambitious goals while fostering long-term partnerships. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Strategic Planning: Strong skills in creating and executing strategic account plans with clear goals, objectives and measurable outcomes 

  • Solution-Oriented: Apply a deep understanding of customer objectives and challenges to create tailored solutions that deliver business outcome value-based results. 

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build, nurture, and expand relationships with senior-level decision-makers within customer organizations. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with internal supporting teams such as Sales Engineers, Solutions Architects, Marketing and Channel to deliver unified account planning and drive consistent results 

  • Partner Relationships: Leverage and collaborate with indirect sales channels and partners to extend reach, maximising deal success. 

  • Commercial Acumen: Exhibit strong deal structuring skills, including contract negotiation, pricing strategies, and overcoming objections.
