This position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence at the Berlin office 3 days per week.
The Opportunity:
PureSpectrum is seeking a proactive and dynamic Account Director to join our exceptional
team for the Central Europe region in our Berlin office. As an Account Director, you will play a
pivotal role in building and maintaining strong client relationships and delivering top-notch
solutions to meet their research needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work

Core Responsibilities:
• Manage a portfolio of key clients within the region and (over)achieve targets with them,
as well find upselling and strategic opportunities to develop them further.
• Understand client goals and objectives, and develop strategic account plans to meet
and exceed revenue targets.
• Conduct Sample Marketplace demos as well as our 'Why PureSpectrum?' pitch
presentations that cover all our services.
• Conduct (and support) client sales pitches and prepare bids by running feasibility and
providing sample sourcing, sampling and scripting advice.
• Work with the Operations team to successfully deliver client projects, which includes
handling project delivery escalations and communicating internally with our CS team.
• Ensure your clients are satisfied with our delivery and price points so that you can grow
your client accounts.
• Serve as the key contact for clients, conducting regular calls/meetings (such as a project
based review or QBR) to understand our customers' overall experience and satisfaction
with PureSpectrum.
• Learn and understand issues and challenges of customers' organizations and industry.
• Respond to and resolve customer questions and issues, documenting all interactions in
CRM systems (PipeDrive).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and
point of contact.
• Prepare and deliver regular reports on account status, revenue forecasts, and
performance metrics.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Product Development and Sales, to drive
product enhancements and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, sharing knowledge within the
team and for effective, best in class touchpoint management with your clients.
• Support team members as required and share knowledge.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• At least 5-7 years of hands-on experience in market research, insights, or a client-facing
role within the market research industry.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Self-motivated and ambitious personality.
• Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets and
client satisfaction.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
• Excellent communication in German and English and interpersonal skills, with the ability
to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
• Experience providing outstanding client care and support in a sampling, software or
tech environment.
• Familiarity with CRM/ tracking systems such as Pipedrive, Salesforce.com, ChurnZero,
Zendesk and Jira.
• Able to work with various departments, levels of management and levels of technical
expertise.
• Able to defuse critical client situations and take ownership as needed.
• Strong organizational skills; able to prioritize tasks and issues.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good knowledge of market research tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• DE time zone, to support your clients.
• Willingness to travel (as needed for clients) mostly within Germany.
