Role Summary
EQ by Equiniti is seeking a qualified Account Associate to join our team. We need a passionate and engaged individual to join our team and help us continue to drive our success forward. As a member of the Relationship Management Team, the Account Associate works side by side with Relationship Managers, Product Management, Sales, Operations and Legal.
This role is the primary interface with customers of EQ Shareowner Services. This position partners with a Relationship Manager to be the face of our organization to our clients. This position is responsible for day-to-day client inquiries and requests, providing reports and lists, Client balancing inquiries, updates in Client Authorized signer, assisting with document collection and answering/placing inbound & outbound phone calls to customers.
This is a full-time position based on a standard 40-hour work week.
Experience Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: trust, financial services, legal or account management
- Experience in communications and interactions with individuals at various levels within an organization, including but not limited to senior leaders.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong project management, analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Customer service focus with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs, and recommending solutions
- Ability to work independently, proactively, innovatively, and creatively while exercising sound judgment.
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information.
- Strong time management and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills.
- Solid problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
Education Requirements
- BA/BS degree is preferred
- Financial services and/or securities industry experience
Compensation: $29.00 - $31.00 hourly
