The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Acceleration Executive is responsible for identifying opportunities with net-new AWS Resellers looking to grow their practice through Ingram Micro’s Xvantage platform.
The primary focus will be on identifying and capitalizing on new partner opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and accelerating the adoption of our AWS Distribution Seller solutions and integrated partner enablement programs. (This is a hunter role)
This role falls under our Modern Infrastructure team.
Responsibilities:

Build AWS partner relationships within a defined geographic territory.

Leverage understanding of AWS eco-system, channel GTM strategies and enablement programs to recruit new AWS partners to maximize resell transactions, revenue and profitability.

Research AWS partners and forge relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders.

Maintain a detailed understanding of the AWS services, pricing programs and technology advantages.

Proactively identify sales opportunities throughout the entire Ingram Micro channel eco-system.

Coordinate and collaborate with other sales resources aligned in the same geography or business units to ensure we are providing maximum value to our partners.

Be the resident subject matter expert on AWS partner programs and internal processes to assure a unified message with every engagement.
What you bring to the role:
-
Strong understanding of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) technologies with specialized knowledge and /or experience in AWS services.

Understanding of distribution at scale and how solutions are delivered globally.

Proven track record achieving goals through intentional pipeline building activities. Ability to work effectively with limited oversight from manager. Uses industry knowledge and experience to coach and encourage teammates and cohorts to strengthen the team.

Able to quickly understand needs of the customer and articulate the value proposition to meet those needs. Comfortable engaging in business conversations with executive stakeholders.

Influences others regarding policies, practices and procedures and knows when to engage internal resources to meet the requests of the customer and solve problems as they arise.

Goals are provided to the incumbent in form of desired results. Determines and develops approach to solve functional area related issues.
Education/Experience:

Four year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field).

Minimum 8 years functional experience including a minimum of 5 years position specific experience.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $67,300.00 - $114,500.00 per year.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
