We need an English-fluent Python Data Engineer (SQL/LLM API), based in Latin America, available to work remotely.
We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data extraction pipelines for PDFs, Excel files, and web scraping.
- Integrate and manage API connections for seamless data ingestion and processing.
- Design and maintain database solutions in Azure, with a focus on PostgreSQL.
- Implement and optimize backend systems using Python and SQL.
- Work extensively with the OpenAI API to build and deploy AI-driven applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and efficient solutions.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Proven experience with Python for backend development, including data handling and processing.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and working with PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, including OpenAI API.
- Knowledge of Azure cloud platforms and database management.
- Familiarity with web scraping tools and libraries.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Compensation:
- The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $3,000 - $3,500 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
- This position includes a 3-month trial period, with the possibility of extension to a long-term.
- This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
- The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
