The Enterprise Infrastructure System Administrator at Harvest Midstream Company is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the company's IT infrastructure, encompassing data center operations, control rooms, server management, and hands on Operational Technology (OT) support. This role is critical in maintaining and evolving the technological backbone that supports business operations and SCADA systems, overseeing the seamless integration of IT and OT infrastructure. The role will ensure the availability, performance, and security of critical systems that support both business operations and OT environments across Harvest's Process Control Network (PCN), Process Information Network (PIN), and Business infrastructure.
Data Center Operations & Infrastructure Management

Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of co-located data centers, control rooms, and server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, optimal performance, uptime, and scalability.

Implement and maintain disaster recovery plans, backup strategies, and business continuity measures.

Manage data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking equipment, ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.

Ensure IT infrastructure supports both corporate operations and OT systems, including SCADA
Operations Technology (OT) Support and Integration:
-
Manage and support OT environments, ensuring reliable operation and integration with IT systems.

Collaborate with OT teams to develop and maintain infrastructure that supports SCADA and other critical OT systems.

Support Harvest control rooms for any OT and IT related issue or question enabling rotational 24/7 support.
PCN/PIN Server and Domain Administration:
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of PCN/PIN servers and related domains.

Ensure the secure and efficient operation of server hardware and software.

Perform regular updates, patches, and backups to maintain system integrity and security.

Monitor server performance and manage capacity planning.
Security and Compliance:

Implement and enforce security policies and procedures across IT and OT infrastructure to protect against threats and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Work closely with the cybersecurity team to perform regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and incident response planning.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards relevant to both IT and OT environments, such as NERC-CIP and TSA Directives for Pipeline Operations.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

Identify opportunities for improving infrastructure efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing performance.

Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in both IT and OT, and recommend upgrades or new solutions as needed.

Lead initiatives to modernize infrastructure, including the adoption of cloud technologies and automation where appropriate.
Metrics Monitoring:

Develop and implement monitoring tools to ensure real-time visibility into the health and performance of IT infrastructure systems. (e.g. SolarWinds or similar)

Conduct root cause analysis on infrastructure incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
Technology Implementation and Project Management:

Lead infrastructure-related projects, including upgrades, expansions, and integrations, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of infrastructure changes, minimizing disruption to business and OT operations.

Lead acquisition integration projects for IT infrastructure.
Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure alignment of Enterprise IT Infrastructure with overall business objectives across operating regions and Tech Services.

Communicate issues and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.

Proven experience in managing data centers, network administration, and telecom systems.

Experience with SCADA systems and industrial network environments is highly desirable.

Familiarity with telecom systems and field support operations.

Experience with vendor management and contract negotiations.

Experience with Cohesity Data Protect, Zerto, CrowdStrike, HPE DHCI platform, VMware, and Microsoft AD is a plus.

Experience with Geoscada, Wonderware, or Cygnet also a plus.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology related field plus three (3) years of experience as a System Administrator or in an IT role with the same or similar job responsibilities.

- Associate Degree in Information Technology related field plus five (5) years of experience as a System Administrator or in an IT role with the same or similar job responsibilities.
OR
- Eight (8) years of experience as a System Administrator or in an IT role with the same or similar job responsibilities.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), Certified Data Center Management Professional (CDCMP) or Microsoft Azure Administrator are desired but not required.
