2025 Summer IT Cybersecurity Intern

This is an intern position that works within the Cyber Security Architecture department helping them in their daily work and learning at the same time.

• Duties will include support Security Architects in project documentation and other duties as assigned by the Managers.
• Communicates and provides clear, concise, and comprehensive status reports on assigned tasks or project segments as required.
• Maintain documentation for cyber security policy and standards to ensure material is accurate and consumable by both IT and business team members
• Assist with developing processes, procedural controls, and implementation mechanisms for achieving and sustaining compliance with all policy and standards
• Consult with project personnel regarding compliance with cyber security standards in order to maintain a secure environment
• Work on projects that will help develop analytical, audit, research, testing and validation skills

Requirements

• Must be a student or already enrolled in a program pursuing a degree in related fields: Engineering or Computer Science.

• Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of the organization and with counterparts in outside organizations.

• Ability to think and act strategically in a fast- paced environment with frequently shifting and/or conflicting priorities. 

• Ability to strategically evaluate and implement high-level programs and initiatives. 

• Demonstrated expertise in the use of software applications (for example Power BI or Power Automate).

• Clear and concise written communication skills.

• Strong spoken communication skills, including the ability to make presentations before a variety of audiences.

• Strong mental acuity including the ability to discuss ideas intelligently and be persuasive.

• Extensive analytical skills including the ability to draw sound conclusions and act decisively.

• Project coordination skills.

• Strong spreadsheet, analytical and statistical skills with attention to details and deadlines.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
