Job Summary:
As a Juvare Accounting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in corporate accounting while working alongside experienced professionals. You will assist with financial processes that support Juvare’s mission in emergency management and preparedness. Your work will contribute to maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting business decisions that impact our global operations.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Supporting month-end and quarter-end close processes, such as journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
- Performing data analysis and financial reporting to support decision-making.
- Document/review internal financial process and recommend changes to management.
- Participating in special projects to improve financial processes and efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Currently a Senior pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Demonstrated leadership in work and/or academics.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale
