This internship position is located in Santa Clara, California, on site.
Key Responsibilities

Design, write, modify, test, and debug software applications. Write maintainable, reliable, reusable, secure, performant code.

Participate in design and code reviews to ensure adherence to architecture, coding standards and best practices.

Contribute to project documentation, including design specifications, and technical documentation.
Program Highlights

Intensive 12-weeks, full time (40 hours per week) paid internship.

Program start dates are in May/June 2025

A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.

Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.

Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.

The Opportunity

The intern role will give you hands-on experience with architecture, design, implementation, and testing as you ensure we build products customers trust and love.
Required Education

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student)

Required Majors

Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
Required skills

Proficient in Java

Experience with micro-services architecture, messaging, multi-threading

Familiarity with database management using Postgres or other relational database

Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks, including Junit, Test NG, Mockito.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Experience with back-end framework such as Spring, Spring Boot

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $45-$50 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
