We're looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join Snap!
What you’ll do:

Lead the design, development, and delivery of advanced solutions for Snap’s most strategic partners, solving unique and high-impact challenges.

Serve as a trusted technical advisor, influencing the product roadmap and ensuring alignment with partner objectives.

Apply deep expertise in Snap’s products and technologies to develop high-quality solutions that address complex technical needs at scale.

Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing best practices for systems design, API integrations, and client support.

Proactively identify technical and operational challenges, offering solutions to improve scalability, performance, and partner outcomes.

Analyze product usage and partner metrics to proactively identify areas for improvement, drive adoption, and recommend enhancements to Snap’s tools and solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute launch strategies for new tools and features.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
-
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.

Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, SDKs, and third-party integrations, including influencing API design and architecture decisions.

Expertise in debugging and troubleshooting complex, distributed systems, anticipating and resolving critical performance bottlenecks.

Strong ability to lead collaboration across multiple teams, driving alignment on technical strategies and delivery goals.
-
Analytical thinking to proactively address systemic challenges and propose impactful improvements.
-
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences, including cross-functional teams and external partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
BS in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent years of experience
-
6+ years of experience as a software or solutions engineer
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field
-
Experience working in the ad tech industry or with advertising platforms, including familiarity with programmatic advertising, Marketing APIs, or ad measurement tools.

Familiarity with large SaaS, PaaS, or cloud platforms, and experience building applications for third-party integrations.

Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to define business requirements and influence product roadmaps.

Knowledge of open-source technologies and modern software development frameworks.

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):
The base salary range for this position is $202,000-$303,000 annually.
Zone B:
The base salary range for this position is $192,000-$288,000 annually.
Zone C:
The base salary range for this position is $172,000-$257,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
