We are looking for a Communication expert, familiar with graphic design to support the Regional Models and geo-Hydrological Impacts (REMHI) Division team in communication, dissemination, and outreach activities in the field of climate change and its interaction with the society.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Communication expert reports to the Communication Officer and to the Division Director, she/he will work in close cooperation with the scientific team to implement the communication and outreach activities for the research and innovation projects of the division Division (Horizon Europe and/or European tenders) and for the promotion of the Dataclime platform, owned and developed by the REMHI Division. The Communication expert will be responsible of creating synergies between project results/products and the Dataclime platform, to increase the value of contents developed in the framework of different projects/tools and systemize them in the platform.
These responsibilities include:
Graphic design (realization of logos/brand identity, realization of infographics)
Design of project websites (web development will be supported by other staff)
Communication and outreach activities (drafting and editing of news, content management for website and social media)
We seek a versatile individual familiar with design and outreach activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, creative, and skilled.
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 4 years of work experience in graphic and web design;
- a very good knowledge of English;
- good communication skills;
- professional experience in designing WordPress websites and themes with special focus on Elementor PRO and WP Bakery;
- professional experience with web tools and languages like HTML, CSS3, SASS and good attitude to learn new tools;
- experience with computer graphics software: raster and vector graphics (i.e. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop;
- competencies in SEO optimization;
- experience with remote collaboration and office tools like Google Workspaces and good attitude in working with teams;
- attitude to work remotely and availability to take part in meeting in presence and in videoconference;
- ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environment;
- accuracy and good analytical skills;
- availability to travel.
DURATION, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Please note that this opportunity will be issued both internally and externally.
- The Managers will be based in Caserta CMCC office.
- Contract and gross annual salary will be based on qualifications and working experience.
- Welfare package, for minimum 12 months contract.
