ROLE
The role of the selected candidates will be to actively collaborate with the team to ensure effective and transparent management of funded projects. They will be responsible for the preparation, monitoring, and financial reporting of assigned projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the team to prepare periodic financial reports for funded projects.
- Assist in the development of budgets and monitoring of project expenditures.
- Contribute to the collection and analysis of financial data to ensure compliance with funder guidelines.
- Support the management of documents and the preparation of materials for presentations.
- Actively participate in the planning and implementation of financial reporting strategies.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Economics, Finance, or related field.
- At least 3 years of work experience in financial reporting and management of funded projects.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and reporting practices.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in computer tools, particularly Excel.
- Good knowledge of SAP management system.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
DURATION, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Please note that this opportunity will be issued both internally and externally.
- The Managers will be based in Lecce CMCC office.
- Contract and gross annual salary will be based on qualifications and working experience.
- Permanent contract starting by end of January 2025, with a gross annual salary range of 30-35K Euros.
- Welfare package, for minimum 12 months contract.
- Flexible working time as per internal policies.
- Support during the immigration process, if needed.

Belonging to legally protected categories (ex L. 68/99) will constitute a preferential condition.
Some fiscal benefits could be applied for repatriated workers or foreign researchers/professors, having the requirements defined by Dlgs 147/2015 (for repatriates) or Dl 78/2010 (for foreigners).

What We Do
The Foundation Euro-Mediterranean Centre on Climate Change (CMCC) is a research centre on climate science and policy.
The CMCC:
- Integrates all studies on climate change and adaptation/mitigation policies
- Promotes collaboration and synergy with international organisations, policy makers, and industry
- Provides technical-scientific support to the institutions involved in the negotiation and international cooperation activities.
CMCC produces thorough studies regarding climate variability, causes, and consequences, through the development of high-resolution simulations based on global models of Earth systems and regional models, with a particular focus on the Mediterranean area.
CMCC's research assures the maintenance of highly reliable products and instruments, which are made available to the scientific community and to further studies on climate science and climate change impacts.
CMCC maintains, checks, and develops numeric model simulations, which are used to study the effects of climate change on the following areas: economy, agriculture, coastal areas, marine and land environment, hydrogeological cycle, carbon cycle and human health
