The Senior/Staff Software Engineer will design, implement, and maintain critical systems for Materialize, with a focus on performance-sensitive distributed systems. Responsibilities include collaborating with engineers and product management, adapting the system based on customer needs, and possibly contributing to integrations with adjacent data infrastructure.

As a Senior Software Engineer in Cloud Infrastructure, you will own and operate the managed cloud service, automate orchestration logic into Kubernetes operators, debug issues in distributed environments, and collaborate closely with product and database engineers to ensure strong cloud interactions. You will contribute to both the managed and self-managed offerings, while ensuring security and performance in the SaaS product.
