Job Overview:
We are looking for a versatile and detail-oriented Content Writer to join the Valnet team. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who excels at turning complex ideas into clear, engaging content. This role involves researching topics, interviewing subject matter experts, and writing content tailored for digital platforms—including Q&A-style blog posts that address real audience questions. A basic understanding of coding and website development is important.
While a basic grasp of SEO is helpful, the focus is on creating informative, reader-focused content built on solid research and source input.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and proofread content for websites, blogs, landing pages, product descriptions, and marketing materials
- Create Q&A-based blog posts that answer common audience or customer questions in a clear, structured format
- Research technical or industry-specific topics and translate them into accessible, engaging language
- Make basic content updates in content management systems (CMS) and understand how content integrates into websites
- Apply foundational SEO best practices (e.g., using headers, meta descriptions, and improving readability) where relevant
- Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and style across all content
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a content writer, journalist, or technical writer with a portfolio of published work
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
- Comfortable conducting interviews and summarizing information from multiple sources
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and web structure
- Excellent research skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in journalism, communications, web writing, or related fields
- Experience writing Q&A-based content or FAQ-style blog posts
- Knowledge of user experience (UX), responsive design, or accessibility is a plus
- Understanding of content strategy and audience engagement
