Working student - Quality Information Systems

Overall purpose of the Quality Information Systems Engineer role:

This role is part of the Quality Information Systems team, working with Quality and IT experts contributing to Total Quality Operations at NXP. This team assures and supports operational continuity of Quality Information Systems, defines, and maintains the Quality Information Systems vision and roadmap, and enables the Digital Transformation and systemic improvements accordingly.

As an intern you will be supporting users with the use of processes, data and systems. Also working with IT to assure systems continuity and improve functionality and data quality.

Your responsibilities: 

• Solve organizational information problems by analyzing and addressing requirements
• Support quality business development requirements
• Develop quality business (intelligence) reports - including advanced analytics
• Provide training and drive continuous improvement.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: 

• Ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
• Manufacturing & Quality affinity
• Ideally knowledge of and experience with semiconductors and Supply Chain
• Some reporting experience - ideally expertise with PowerBI.
• Some coding experience - ideally expertise with Python
• Power Platform, SPARQL, SQL knowledge is an advantage
• Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to collaborate across various functional groups and with various cultures
• Proficiency in organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple projects.
