Responsibilities
- Work with end-to-end system engineers to help design high performance and high availability distributed systems
- Apply cutting-edge computational geometry, image processing, computer vision and machine learning to tackle the long tail of real-world situations
- Build machine learning models to detect/classify objects, and integrate the ML components into the production perception pipeline
Required Skills
- Experience in implementing robust, safety-critical code, efficient in Python or C++
- Currently pursuing MS or PhD in CS, EE, or related field
- Deep understanding of machine learning principles and methodologies
- Experience applying and tuning deep neural networks in large-scale, data-driven applications
- Strong familiarity with state-of-the-art machine learning tools, computational geometry, image processing, and computer vision features and techniques
Preferred Skills
- Past experiences in motion tracking, semantic segmentation, object recognition and/or robotics
- Experience working with autonomous vehicles
