Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Platform Lead to oversee and manage Workday integrations, development initiatives, and finance-related processes within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Workday integration tools, configuration, and development, with a deep understanding of Workday Financials. This role will involve partnering with stakeholders, leading Workday projects, ensuring system stability, and delivering solutions aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Integration Leadership:
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, Web Services, and APIs.
• Ensure seamless data flow and accuracy across Workday and third-party applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues to maintain system reliability.
Workday Development:
• Configure and customize Workday modules to meet organizational needs, focusing on financial processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions.
• Develop custom reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for Finance and other business units.
Finance Expertise:
• Lead initiatives to optimize Workday Financials, including modules such as Procurement, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Expense Management.
• Partner with Finance teams to enhance workflows, reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure alignment of Workday Financial configurations with accounting standards and best practices.
Project Management:
• Lead Workday implementation or enhancement projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Provide oversight on Workday updates and releases, managing the impact on existing configurations and integrations.
• Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new functionality or updates.
Team Collaboration and Support:
• Act as a subject matter expert for Workday Financials and integrations, providing guidance and training to internal teams.
• Work closely with IT, HR, and Finance to align system capabilities with business strategies.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday integrations, including Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and EIB.
• Proven expertise in Workday Financials, with experience in at least two of the following modules: General Ledger, Procurement, Expenses, or Accounts Payable.
• Strong background in Workday configuration and reporting, with the ability to customize business processes and dashboards.
• Experience leading Workday implementation or enhancement projects.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in XML, XSLT, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards for Workday integrations.
• Advanced reporting and analytics skills using Workday tools.
Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical and scalable solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in Workday Integration or Workday Financials. Workday HR experience a plus.
• Experience with other ERP systems or integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
