The Opportunity

The Workday HCM Analyst is key in supporting and optimizing the Workday HCM system, ensuring data accuracy, troubleshooting system issues, and assisting with system enhancements. This role works closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to maintain system integrity, generate reports, and support configuration and testing efforts. Additionally, the analyst helps implement new Workday features, monitors system updates, and ensures compliance with data privacy regulations. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and distribute accurate Workday reports to stakeholders across HR, Finance, and IT, ensuring data integrity and providing insights for decision-making.

  • Respond to Workday HCM inquiries, resolving system-related issues, , and escalating complex cases as needed while meeting SLA requirements.

  • Assist with Workday configuration and testing efforts, ensuring system changes are validated and properly implemented without disrupting existing workflows.

  • Monitor and document Workday system updates and releases, helping to assess new features and supporting process improvements based on business needs.

  • Assist and support the configuration of new Workday HCM Projects and Enhancements including testing, training and user adoption efforts.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and maintain system records in line with GDPR and company policies.

  • Conduct routine Workday data audits, identifying and correcting inaccuracies in contractor end dates, supervisory organization structures, and HR program processes.

  • Support Workday release planning efforts, assisting in testing and documentation of system updates to ensure smooth adoption by end users.

  • Maintain documentation and training materials, ensuring system processes are well-documented and accessible to users who need guidance.

  • Assist HR, IT, and Finance teams with Workday-related requests, researching solutions and helping execute necessary changes to enhance system performance.

  • Utilize Workday Community as a resource to stay up to date on Workday releases, updates and fixes.

  • Manage the Catalina Immigration process, including working closely with the outside Immigration vendor.

  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience in HRIS administration or Workday HCM support.

  • Work Experience: 1-3 years of experience working with Workday HCM or another HRIS platform in a support, reporting, or configuration role.

  • Hands-on experience with Workday HCM modules, including troubleshooting, reporting, system maintenance, and user support.

  • Ability to build, modify, and distribute Workday reports, ensuring accuracy and delivering insights for HR, Finance, and IT teams.

  • Familiarity with Workday configuration, testing processes, and system changes, ensuring updates are successfully implemented and validated.

  • Strong ability to diagnose and resolve system-related issues, escalating as needed while meeting SLA requirements.

  • Knowledge of GDPR, data retention policies, and HR compliance standards to support system audits and regulatory requirements.

  • Ability to work effectively with HR, Finance, and IT teams, translating business needs into Workday solutions and providing clear guidance.

  • Experience maintaining system documentation, user guides, and training materials, assisting stakeholders in adopting new Workday functionalities.

  • Strong ability to manage multiple requests, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in Workday-related projects.

  • Ability to conduct regular data audits, identify discrepancies, and ensure data integrity across Workday HCM.

  • Willingness to stay up to date with Workday updates, explore optimization opportunities, and propose improvements that enhance system efficiency and user experience.
