Workday Functional Domain Architect

Responsibilities:

• Assesses and design software specific roadmaps, system architecture, business requirements, processes, tools and best practices, across the IT division.
• Conducts reviews, analyzes organizational needs and goals, and defines a domain IT strategy that supports the design and development of software solutions and services to meet business objectives and goals.
• Partners with all technical departments in the purchases of new applications, tools, technologies, and solutions.
• Assists with the progress of our initiatives and methodologies and the creation of detailed software design specifications
• Creates clarity and certainty when there is architecture ambiguity; communicate to all stakeholders at varying levels within the organization. Collaborates with various stakeholders to determine software requirements
• Performs software version control and maintain periodic compilation schedule
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of eight years related work experience, with at least three years of technology architect experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
