Responsibilities
The candidate will be part of the WD Integration Team to support integration enhancements and defect fixing requests.
· Comprehend Workday integrations from multiple endpoint systems, as well as holistic interchange services, rendering effective data quality and dependable exchanges of digital information.
· Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating Workday cloud application with external applications across HR, Finance, and other interfacing applications/areas, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation across variable factors.
· Basic understanding of the Security Configuration and Business Process setup is a must.
· Engage, analyse, design, build, test and deploy Workday integration including Studio, EIB, and supplement with any 3rd party coding.
· Perform Impact Assessment, support upgrades, changes and modifications, including evaluation of Workday releases.
· Develop BIRT reports using Eclipse IDE.
· Experience to write Unix scripts, knowledge on Connect Direct, Control-M job scheduling and SFTP protocol are added advantage.
· Prepare System Development Methodology documentations and delivery artefacts.
· Represent team in meetings, clarify requirements, provide concise summary write-up with action items and timeline.
· Track delivery progression and timely follow-up with counterparts and stakeholders. Demonstrate diligent monitoring and appropriate escalation for status progression. Forecasting sufficient turnaround time and timely alert for any potential delay or blocker, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Perform Impact assessment and effort estimates
- Prepare functional specifications and WD integration workbook, conduct walkthrough and obtain sign-off.
- Prepare, review and execute SIT test plan with detailed test scenarios, data and test results.
Ensure completeness and quality of the SDM deliverables against QCR/SDM Quality assurance gates assessment. E.g. Ensure completeness for QCR team / manager smooth review without having to flag out any missing documentation. Ensure quality on QCR deliverables checklist without any invalid links/information that requires remediation
Requirements
· Minimum degree in IT or computer related subject with a recognized university.
· Minimum 6 years of experience in Workday integration development.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills; both written and spoken.
· Effective working relationships with all functional units of the organization.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Detailed testing and documentation skills.
· Fast learner and able to work independently, as well as a good team player.
Agile, organised and ability to multi-task effectively.
