WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Workday and Finance Systems Administrator at Duck Creek Technologies is a key role responsible for the administration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Workday and finance systems. This level position focuses on leading the technical and operational aspects of the company’s enterprise systems. The role combines technical expertise with strategic planning and effective communication to ensure the seamless functioning of these critical systems, contributing to the organization’s overall goals and priorities. The individual in this role will be accountable for ensuring that system configurations align with operational objectives and will provide guidance on best practices for the systems’ administration.
Job Description:

Administer and configure the Workday platform to align with business requirements.

Manage system upgrades, patches, and integrations with other enterprise systems.

Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration guides and user manuals.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Workday and finance systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and gather business requirements.

Design and implement system enhancements and new functionalities.
-
Ensure data integrity and security within the Workday and finance systems.

Conduct system audits and compliance checks to ensure system reliability.

Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to ensure proper usage.

Monitor system performance and implement optimizations as needed.

Oversee user access and permissions within the systems.

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Workday and finance systems administration.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field or equivalent years of experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in WorkDay administration and finance systems management.

Strong understanding of enterprise systems and their integration.
PREFERRED:

Advanced certifications in WorkDay or finance systems.

Experience in a global software company or similar industry.

Proven track record of managing complex system implementations and upgrades.
