About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager, User Experience Design & Strategy to lead the UX vision execution for WP Engines owned brands (NitroPack, ACF and Delicious Brains). This role requires a balance of hands-on UX design expertise and the ability to translate business goals into actionable design and development requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user-centered design, experience with WordPress platforms, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
UX Strategy & Vision

Define and drive the overall UX strategy and roadmap for multiple WordPress websites, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.

Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing to inform design decisions and continuously optimize user experience.

Establish design guidelines, best practices, and UX standards to maintain consistency and scalability across platforms.
End-to-End User Experience Design

Oversee the full UX design lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring seamless and engaging experiences for all website users.

Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to visualize and validate design concepts.

Collaborate closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of UX designs.

Optimize site navigation, information architecture, and interaction models to enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, product, and development teams, to align UX strategy with business goals.

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide design recommendations, and manage expectations.

Facilitate workshops and design reviews to gain consensus and ensure alignment across teams.
Requirements Gathering & Documentation

Translate business needs and user insights into clear, actionable requirements for development teams.

Create and maintain detailed UX documentation, including functional specifications, design guidelines, and project timelines.

Define and prioritize design tasks to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Project Oversight & Delivery

Oversee the successful execution of UX projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and business objectives are met.

Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.

Conduct post-launch evaluations to assess performance, gather user feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
UX Design Expertise

7+ years of experience in experience design, strategy, and project management, preferably with a focus on WordPress websites.

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and responsive design.

Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

Experience creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
