Digital Analytics is the team that collects, analyzes, and reports key metrics providing recommendations that drive performance on our digital storefronts such as ChoiceHotels.com and the Choice Hotels App. As a key member of the Digital Analytics team, you will play an integral role in driving digital growth at Choice Hotels, ensuring our guests have a simple and exceptional booking experience while delivering meaningful revenue impact for the business.

Your Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze digital performance data using Adobe Analytics to uncover insights and trends that drive business decisions.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators for e-commerce, digital marketing, IT, and loyalty.
- Provide actionable insights to drive guest acquisition, retention, and revenue growth across digital channels.
Testing, Optimization, and Personalization
- Support and help understand A/B and multivariate testing strategies aimed at improving user engagement, conversion rates, and overall digital experience.
- Partner with digital product owners and UX teams to deliver test ideation and areas of opportunity based on data-backed insights.
Implementation, Governance, and Collaboration
- Utilize Adobe Launch/Tags for efficient tag management across digital properties.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate and consistent tracking across web and mobile platforms.
- Define and maintain data governance standards for the digital analytics ecosystem.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous QA processes for analytics and tracking implementations.
Guest Journey and Experience Insights
- Identify and resolve friction points in the digital booking journey, enhancing the experience for Choice Hotels' guests.
- Conduct funnel analysis and recommend strategies to optimize conversion paths.
- Track and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns, providing insights to optimize future initiatives.
Leadership and Innovation
- Collaborate with team members internally and externally to foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Lead stakeholder training sessions to enhance proficiency in analytics tools and methodologies.
- Keep up to date with emerging analytics technologies and methodologies to ensure Choice Hotels remains at the forefront of digital analytics innovation.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required. Ideal fields of study include Business Analytics and Management, Statistics, Data Science and/or Computer Science or Information Systems.
- At least 5+ years’ experience in fields such as Digital Marketing, Web Analytics, A/B Testing, Business Intelligence and/or E-Commerce
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient in tools such as Adobe Analytics (including report suite implementation and configuration), Adobe Target, Adobe Launch/Tags (JavaScript experience preferred), Quantum Metric, Google Analytics, data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), with additional experience in SQL being a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement data-driven strategies.
- Technical proficiency with a solid understanding of tag management and implementation.
- A strategic and analytical mindset, capable of interpreting complex data sets and translating them into insights.
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams, mentor colleagues, and communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Your Team
This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Director, Digital Analytics. You will have 2 peer teammates and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location
As our Digital Analytics Manager, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, AZ. In October 2021, Choice opened a newly constructed world class technology center.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $113,000 to $130,000 annually. In addition to the annual salary, this role is eligible for an annual bonus based on the terms of Choice's Management Incentive Plan (MIP)
The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
