About the Position
Dexis is recruiting for an experienced WMD Strategic Planner to support U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) in Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) planning efforts. The position will focus on developing and coordinating CWMD and WMD-Terrorism plans while providing subject matter expertise in deterrence planning and global counter-terrorism efforts with WMD-T components. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of the Joint Operational Planning Process for CWMD activities
- Analyze and develop plans and orders based on commander's intent and mission requirements
- Serve as subject matter expert for USSOCOM-led CWMD and WMD-T planning efforts
- Coordinate with Joint Staff, OSD, other Combatant Commands, and interagency partners
- Participate in CWMD community of interest to improve plans, policies, and strategies
- Conduct systems analysis and technical optimization for WMD-related planning
- Develop and deliver complex operational and technical documentation
- Perform trade studies and develop high-level designs for joint system concepts
- Coordinate Freedom of Information Act requests and Mandatory Declassification Reviews
- Ensure proper safeguarding of CWMD plans and orders
Qualifications
- Graduate of Joint Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Planning Course (JCPC), CWMD Senior Staff Planners course, or equivalent program
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience
- Minimum 5 years of WMD-related planning experience
- Minimum 3 years experience at Geographic or Functional Combatant Command Headquarters
- Comprehensive knowledge of joint operational planning processes
- Experience in coordinating with interagency and multinational partners
- Strong analytical and technical documentation skills
- Active DOD Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Special Operations activities and Counter-Terrorism
- Prior experience at USCENTCOM
- Advanced degree in relevant field
- Knowledge of CENTCOM Area of Responsibility
Below is the pay range aligned with this position. When developing a range, Dexis evaluates compensation holistically, triangulating between external market research, our budget for the position, and internal equity to arrive at a figure that is fair and competitive. Offers within this range will be based on an individual candidate's qualification, relevant education and experience, skills, performance, and organizational needs.

$95,000—$116,000 USD
