Job Title: Wave Planner Administrator
Reports to: DC Sr. Site Manager
Location: Mooresville
The Role
As a Wave Planner, you release orders to the Work Management System (WMS), on an hourly basis. The Wave Planner also, ensures departments have consistent orders to fulfill the production day. The Wave Planner drops orders in a strategic way to ensure that service level is met. Sends daily orders and communicates with other departments. Monitors order progress via the High Jump software. May interact with customer service department to plan and effectively execute production, shipping, compliance account structure, and meet ship windows.
The Wave Planner is also cross trained in other departments to assist and support in a as needed basis. This includes, but not limited to administration duties for the Distribution Center. Develop and maintain productive, effective, and professional relationships with peers, superiors, auditors, and others. Always represent the company in a positive and supportive manner.

Your Impact
- Coordinate and manage daily outbound waves using the WMS Highjump to manage, prioritize, create and release customer order, fulfillment work in consistency to Vendor Compliance routing guides & proper ship methods.
- Coordinate with Distribution management and Customer Service department to resolve customer order issues; process special request, etc.
- Communicate with Warehouse department personnel to investigate inventory allocation issues that arise during the process of creating and releasing waves.
- Develop strategies with Shipping Supervisor to create and release order fulfillment work based on start ship date, cancel date and prioritized orders
- Investigate “aging” waves and cartons and resolve accordingly through HighJump
- Support and assist the distribution center with administration duties.

We’d love to hear from people with
- 1-2 years related experience in departments he/she will impact (fulfillment, shipping/palletization/VAS and replenishment).
- Proficient understanding of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must be able to Read, Write, and Speak English.
- Must have patience and the capability to train/teach associates.
- Ability to learn to operate RF Scanner and other necessary job tools.
- Ability to operate equipment & lift to 50 lbs.
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to understand all functions through training.
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Highly motivated, a team-player, and self-starter
- Must be willing to cross-train outside of your immediate department.
- Demonstrate high levels of dependability.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, but not required
