JOB DETAILS
Base Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Day Shift: 5:00 am - 1:30 pm (Monday - Friday)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and operate designated machinery including but not limited to banders, pallet jacks, forklifts
- Gain thorough knowledge of Warehouse production techniques and have the ability to produce quality-building parts
- Knows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and about a manufacturing environment
- Set-up and operate designated machinery and equipment
- Operate computerized equipment and material handling equipment
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation
- Mark part number, order number, number of pieces on parts. Attach identification tags as required for customer to have the ability to locate correct parts
- Interpret technical data and select correct raw material or semi-finished parts
- Maintains continuous improvement practices in work area
- May be assigned other projects and duties as designated Warehouse Supervisor
Qualifications
- High school GED or equivalent required with an Associates and/or Bachelor's degree, preferred
- Minimum 2 yrs. recent experience in manufacturing
- Thorough knowledge of the team processes
- Gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline
- Production planning background preferred
- Must adhere to all company safety policies
- Exposure to 5S & Rapid Improvement programs preferred
- Quality driven
- Excel/Word experience is preferred
- Works under moderate supervision
- Reports to a manager or supervisor
- Gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline
- Works under moderate supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
