Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented VP/GM International Sales to join our Leadership Team and drive revenue and business expansion for our Music business in key international markets. This role is ideally based in London and will require significant travel. The candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing successful international revenue strategies for a SaaS company, ideally in the music or entertainment industry. The VP/GM International Sales will play a critical role in shaping the company's commercial success outside of the US by identifying new business opportunities, driving sales activities, ensuring customer satisfaction and implementing marketing programs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Revenue Strategy and Planning:
    • Prioritize key International markets and define strategy to execute across sales, channel partnerships, partner marketing and other efforts
    • Develop and execute comprehensive revenue generation strategies aligned with company goals and market trends
    • Collaborate with other executives to establish key performance indicators (KPIs), set revenue targets and forecast financial performance
    • Define technical and commercial channel partner strategies to grow revenue and extend reach e.g. Snowflake Data Exchange
  2. Sales & Marketing Leadership:
    • Originate and lead new customer revenue opportunities in key markets
    • Work with US-based account leads for Global customers to identify new revenue opportunities with existing customers
    • Build a performance-based culture by attracting, hiring and retaining sales and marketing talent in Europe and APAC
    • Implement best practices in sales processes, customer relationship management and pipeline management
    • Work closely with the Finance team to manage budgets, optimize pricing strategies and set team KPIs to measure progress
    • Implement a data-driven approach to business planning, performance management and scaling the International go-to-market organization
  3. Industry Leadership:
    • Maintain and develop senior relationships with leading music and entertainment companies in key International markets
    • Represent Luminate to the music and entertainment companies at the most senior levels
    • Collate and structure customer requirements to define International product strategy

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior leader in developing International strategy and delivering results
  • Track record of growing revenue in International markets through sales, new product development, marketing and channel partnerships
  • Successful experience building and leading global teams
  • Expert at SaaS and SaaS-like business models
  • Solid understanding of music and entertainment industry dynamics, licensing, and digital distribution
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven and results-oriented approach
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus
