Position overview
The VP of Organic/SEO Marketing at Xapo Bank will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive organic growth strategy to drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement. This role is critical in positioning Xapo Bank as a leader in the crypto and fintech space, leveraging advanced SEO techniques, content marketing strategies, and data-driven insights. As a key contributor to Xapo's growth, you will optimize our digital assets for search engine visibility and ensure a seamless user experience that aligns with our global brand values and strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a robust organic marketing strategy that drives traffic, engagement, and conversion across Xapo's digital ecosystem.
- Lead SEO efforts, including keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, technical SEO, and site performance enhancement with Xapo’s goals in the crypto and fintech space.
- Optimize digital assets (text, graphics, multimedia) for SEO and usability on devices, ensuring alignment with Xapo's brand and user experience standards.
- Monitor and analyze web metrics such as traffic, time on site, click-through rates, conversion rates, and cost per acquisition, using insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with content creators, developers, designers, product, PR, and digital marketing to enhance site architecture, content strategy, and user experience for organic growth.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and emerging best practices in crypto and fintech marketing.
- Provide strategic insights to cross-functional teams for aligning organic marketing efforts with broader business objectives. Exceptional ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively.
- Train and mentor team members in SEO best practices and organic marketing strategies.
- Foster relationships with key influencers, thought leaders, and external partners to amplify outreach and content distribution efforts.
Skills needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
- At least 7+ years of proven experience leading organic marketing or SEO efforts in fintech, crypto, or tech sectors.
- Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, Search Console), web analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Search Console), and content management systems (CMS).
- Strong ability to analyze complex web metrics and translate data into actionable strategies.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing data-driven organic marketing strategies, particularly in the crypto, fintech, or tech industries.
- Proven experience with video creation.
- Deep understanding of content marketing, keyword placement, and user experience to drive organic visibility.
- Strong industry background and knowledge in crypto.
- Up-to-date knowledge of SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and crypto market dynamics.
- Experience in building, training, and leading high-performing marketing teams.
