Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a Vice President of Operations who will play a critical role in ensuring our operational success and scalability. This leader will collaborate closely with Human Resources (HR), Education/Training, and Information Technology (IT) teams to drive strategic initiatives that align with our mission and values. The VP of Operations will work alongside the CEO and senior leadership team to ensure our people, processes, and systems are optimized for efficiency, quality, and compliance in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Directly supervise and support the Director of HR, Director of Education, and Director of IT, ensuring alignment with organizational goals:
    • Director of HR: Responsible for implementing robust talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies. Ensures compliance with labor laws and cultivates a positive, engaging workplace culture.
    • Sr. Director of Education: Responsible for designing and implementing effective training programs that prepare scribes to meet client-specific documentation standards and support their professional growth.
    • Director of IT: Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company’s technology infrastructure, including EHR/EMR integration, scheduling platforms, and data security, while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Work collaboratively to drive operational strategy: Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute strategies that drive growth, improve quality, and meet financial objectives. Support monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous process enhancements.
  • Support quality and compliance initiatives: Work alongside quality assurance teams to implement frameworks that guarantee documentation accuracy, regulatory adherence, and client satisfaction. Partner with stakeholders to resolve challenges and refine processes.
  • Foster collaboration: Act as a connector between operations and other departments (Sales, Marketing, Finance) to ensure alignment and seamless communication. Build strong relationships with healthcare providers, clients, and industry partners.
  • Inform and Empower: Articulate big-picture concepts and initiatives to diverse audiences in a way that inspires understanding and equips them to apply this knowledge effectively, enhancing their ability to succeed in their roles.
  • Talent Development: Utilize strong interpersonal skills to bring out the best in those that report to you and work with you.

What You’ll Need

To be successful in this role, you’ll need the following experience, education, disposition, and the ability to engage in specific physical, mental, and sensory actions with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, ideally in healthcare or related services.
  • Proven success in supporting and working alongside multidisciplinary teams, including HR, training/education, and IT functions.
  • Strong business acumen, demonstrated by the ability to receive, interpret, and apply ‘big picture’ concepts effectively. 
  • Expertise in healthcare documentation requirements, EHR/EMR systems, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills, with the ability to inspire teams and drive results.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, coupled with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to use various tech peripherals. 
  • Ability to take in, retain, and utilize facts and information to make logic-based decisions. 
  • Ability to hear and act upon feedback in a constructive manner.
  • Ability to utilize various project management tools, such as Asana or Monday. 

What We Offer

  • A competitive base salary of up to $140,000 with variable compensation of up to $7500 per quarter based on meeting agreed-upon metrics.
