JOB SUMMARY: The VP, National Lending Deposits Manager is responsible for managing daily operational functions in support of the Healthcare, Specialty Lending and Real Estate, and AP Leveraged Finance lines of business. This individual is responsible for driving innovative system implementations and processes to streamline deposit account opening and servicing activities, while ensuring that all activities are executed in accordance with policies, contractual provisions, and strong internal control.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the National Lending Deposits team. This includes account opening, account management, records maintenance, monitoring of the group’s shared e-mail inbox, providing borrowers/customers with “white glove” customer service, and lead strategic discussions and implementations regarding future scope under the NLD umbrella with little supervision
- Serve as a relationship bank liaison for supported Lending lines of business on deposit accounts, banking procedures, and controls
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of all Lending lines of business servicing requests, new account set-ups, and modifications
- Provide sales, service, and execution support for new and prospective client relationships
- Resolve escalated /complex customer service issues and provide guidance to the Lending lines of business team to interpret and explain bank policies and procedures and regulations
- Provide active day-to-day support to the Lending lines of business team with customers as needed for complex problem resolution, escalation of issues, alignment of operational priorities, and communicate with both internal and external customers
- Assist with urgent, complex requests by providing organized and accurate analysis on an ad-hoc basis
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of bank products and services in order to aide in identifying customer's needs and to provide solutions
- Ensure that business objectives and activities adhere to bank policies and procedures and are following state and federal regulatory requirements
- Assist with additional projects as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise assigned employees by organizing and monitoring work progress
- Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
- Manage performance of employees through development, coaching, and counseling
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in account officer type roles within banking operations required
- Experience with FIS integrated systems preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills that enable innovative ideas and recommendations
- Ability to coordinate, collaborate, and to foster strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Convey a sense of urgency and drives issues to closure while exercising a high level of initiative and judgement when making routine decisions
- Accuracy and attention to detail is paramount to ensure and foster customer confidence
- Leadership ability to react in an agile manner to execute efficiently and effectively
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to respond to emails or requests after business hours
The pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. $90,000 (entry level qualifications) to $115,000 (highly experienced).
