We seek an outstanding leader to join the Management Team of Business Line Neuro Solutions, as the new VP & Head of Product Management. You will report to the SVP & Head of Business Line Neuro Solutions and be responsible for all product planning and product strategy activities within the Business Line.
The VP & Head of Product Management leads the product management organization divided over three product lines: Leksell Gamma Knife, Leksell Gamma Plan (software), and Leksell Stereotactic Neurosurgery.
Strong leadership abilities are crucial for this position, and to succeed as a leader in this role we think you hold the key quality to turn the seemingly impossible into reality, the complex into understandable and actionable tactics. You foster an environment where pushing boundaries is encouraged, facilitating both personal and organizational growth. You must have a sincere interest in long-term development of medical products, and you need to be a team player and thrive at seeing your team succeed.
What you’ll do at Elekta
- Be an excellent leader and participant in the Management Team of Business Line Neuro Solutions
- Lead and develop the Product strategy for all three product lines
- Represent the product management function in priority and planning of the Neuro Business Line development program
- Proactively engage and collaborate with other functions to ensure knowledge, resources, and technologies are synchronized and optimized, including scouting, and proposing new M&A opportunities for Business Line Neuro
- Build a strong relationship and close collaboration with our Engineering (research & development), Service, Sales & Marketing departments
- Build a strong relationship and close collaboration with our Regulatory and Pricing departments to set strategies for different territories
- Build a strong relationship and close collaboration with our Regional colleagues to ensure strong customer feedback loops
- Manage the product lifecycle (including end-of-life) by gathering customer and market insights, shaping the roadmap, crafting value propositions, developing innovation cases, and launching new products into new regions
- Foremost, work closely together with dedicated product managers from the three product lines
Who we are looking for
- Strategic and business mindset with strong leadership, communication and change management capabilities
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- Significant senior management experience from an international high-quality service/engineering industry
- Experience from R&D focused Product management in an international environment, preferably from the medical capital equipment industry
