We are hiring a Vice President of Global Fulfillment and Logistics to lead our international fulfillment operations. Brilliant’s main warehouse is located in Waukegan, IL. Our additional facilities are located internationally and are all operated via partnerships with local fulfillment centers. We are rapidly growing our corporate gifting, event and merchandise fulfillment operations and seeking a strategic leader with operational experience who will combine skill in process and systems with hands-on coaching and enthusiasm for process establishment and improvement. This is a full-time salaried position for a leader who is able to travel to Waukegan IL 2 to 3 days per week, and will report to the Chief Operating Officer.
DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
- Own the fulfillment of all products that touch one of our warehouses around the globe.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for Waukegan warehouse operations to meet organizational objectives.
- Interact with prospects and clients as requested by our sales or customer success teams.
- Work with our International Programs Manager to oversee the growing partnerships we have built with our international fulfillment partners to ensure continued performance and profitability
- Update our internal logistics processes, in collaboration with our Client Experience team, to better increase throughput and reduce time to fulfill.
- Own the relationship with our array of shipping partners, and ensure we are compliant with their policies, getting the best service possible, and set up to be optimizing our operations logistically
- Ensure processes and training are compliant with regulations.
- Establish and actively monitor and optimize KPIs and financial performance.
- Leverage data analytics and automation tools to optimize workflows and decision-making processes.
- Create, actively monitor and manage operating budget, including expenses for labor, equipment, and supplies.
- Coach team to achieve optimal facility layouts based on data (e.g., item dimensions and velocity).
- Design/modify processes to improve productivity without making employees feel overburdened.
- Contribute as part of Brilliant’s cross-functional management team.
- Work with stakeholders across the organization to ensure we are delivering the best experiences for our clients and their recipients.
- Ensure leaders effectively coach, develop, document, and monitor employee performance.
- Collaborate with product and engineering to design and implement and manage systems (including our prop to drive performance across operations).
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong sense of client service when working with internal and external stakeholders
- Willingness to learn and be innovative to explore new strategies.
- Skilled and trained in continuous improvement and problem-solving techniques, like Kaizen.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management principles, and distribution operations.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., OSHA).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 8 + years of experience working in warehouse operations or related fields.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
