The Opportunity:

Leads the strategy, development and operation of all data interfaces between EHP and our clients and partners. This role includes the migration from our current, primarily flat file-based interface strategy to an HL7 and API centric strategy and includes EDI interfaces. Establish real-time interfaces with our customers in support of front-end and mid-rev cycle solutions and work with our EIQ application and data ingestion and IT teams to develop an alternative HL7-based set of interfaces as a substitute for many of our flat-file interfaces. This includes jointly developing new use cases enabled by the real-time capabilities of HL7.The leader should have experience and knowledge of the emerging trend in the market so that he/she can assess the need to introduce effective and effective solution for the organization.The leader should also have good financial, capital and global resource management experience.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manages and leads HL7/EDI/API projects including client integrations, documentation, quality assurance, implementation support, and workflow management.
  • Configures, administers and operates standard HL7/EDI Interface (and possibly FHIR) Engine software.
  • Monitor and report performance and quality metrics for the HL7/EDI Interface Engine.
  • Create and internally and externally represent EHPs interface strategy, ensure we are at the forefront of related capabilities in our industry and represent our thought leadership.
  • Work with Client Liaison to partner with Client and enable new data feeds and fix outages or missing data.
  • Hire, develop, evaluate, reward, and retain a highly qualified team of professionals.
  • Experience leading complex, major change initiatives; demonstrated skills in change management.

Requirements:

ITIL, COMPT TIA, any IT certification

Leadership of Engineering experience required, healthcare industry preferred
