The Opportunity
- Reporting to the SVP, Controllership, you will be responsible for all SEC financial reporting filings, the consolidation of company financial results, intercompany and other corporate reporting, and working with the segments on development of appropriate management reporting of business results. This role includes providing the technical accounting support for the company including appropriate research on unique transactions and the development of consistent application of GAAP, regulatory and compliance policies across all markets with the highest integrity. You will have frequent interactions with Senior Executives and be the primary contact for the external audit relationship.
- This role is hybrid remote (4-6xs a month at our West Chester, PA office.)
Your Impact
- Provide strategic team Leadership and development of capabilities roadmap for talent and technology.
- Partner with the Global business leaders - Leading when appropriate due diligence efforts and directing accounting treatment to support New Business Development and ongoing business initiatives/ acquisitions.
- Guide External Audit relationship and issue resolution from both a financial statement and SOX perspective.
- Monthly global close review and issue resolution to achieve accurate financial statements and communication to management of results.
- Develop financial and SOX controls and transaction service optimization.
- Consolidated External Reporting Requirements, Company Reporting Requirements, SEC Reporting – 10Q,10K, MD&A. Signor of Management Representation letter and SEC documents
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. CPA. MBA strongly preferred.
- 15+ years in corporate finance in large corporation.
- 15+ years experience working in a matrix managed organization structure.
- 15+ years experience working across an International, multi-country environment.
- 15+ years experience leading global corporate consolidation.
- 15+ years experience of proven accounting process improvement.
- 5+ years leading a large exempt accounting and reporting team in a dynamic, unstructured environment.
- Retail industry and eCommerce experience preferred.
Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
