VM-JP internal digitalization is key to improve efficiency and speed to ensure our continued success. You are one of the core members of VM’s digitalization efforts. Together with Process Engineers and Business Owners in designing an IT-enabled, data-oriented workflow for their existing business processes. You know state of the art design patterns and solutions in Bosch and Cloud services. Together with a small team you not only design, but also implement these solutions using software engineering best practices. You love learning new things and sharing your passion with others.

Design IT solutions based on non-functional requirements as well as user input

Develop cloud based solutions with Typescript & React

Provide automation solutions developed in Python using on-prem resources

Collaborate with other developers using GitHub

Use your skill and experience to teach motivated junior developers how to develop professional solutions

Push for simple solutions rather than full customization
Qualifications
- Experience working in several projects, preferable in tool or solution development
- English TOEIC 750+ (Japanese preferred)
- Several years experience in at least Javascript/Typescript or Python
- Solid understanding of container technologies and Docker
- Fluent in Scripting like Bash or Powershell
- Firm knowledge of API design and technologies
- Good understanding of integrating users into design process
- Several years experience working with CI/CD, DevOps and automation solutions
- Experience with git and GitHub (or similar)
- Can abstract technical terms for non IT stakeholders
- Basic understanding of web technologies
- Experience in SQL and no-SQL database design
