As a Visual Market Leader you are responsible for the visual merchandising and overall store expression of the New York City market that embodies Everlane brand esthetic and ethos. As a Visual Market Leader, you:Maintain and Elevate Visual Merchandising Presentation 

  • Visual Standards
    • Ensure that both stores in the NYC market adhere to Everlane’s visual merchandising guidelines and brand standards. 
    • Elevate visual merchandising, through curated and thoughtful presentation.
    • Manage signage, fresh-cuts and greenery, lighting, and in-store marketing displays.
  • Stock Levels & Product Presentation
    • Manage and maintain a well-stocked sales floor that is standardized, organized, and visually appealing. 
    • Update and impact presentation due to sell-through and OOS, while communicating challenges to leadership to ensure OOS are addressed and impacted in a timely manner.
  • Efficient Product Flow
    • Ensure smooth and efficient product flow from the stockroom to the sales floor.
    • Oversee timely stock replenishment, organize back-stock, and ensure new styles are placed in a timely and visually compelling manner.
  • Plan and Prep for Monthly Floor Set Execution
    • Oversee the preparation and execution of monthly floor sets. 
    • Ensure that the team is scheduled appropriately to support the set-up, and that all team members are trained to execute the floor sets to Everlane’s visual standards. 
  • Plan and Interpret Corporate Visual Directives
    • Collaborate with the SR Visual Manager, Retail and Marketing to plan and interpret corporate visual directives, ensuring they are adapted to meet the needs of the NYC market. 
    • Consider unique store layouts and architecture of both the Williamsburg (WB) and Prince Street locations to ensure the floor sets are tailored to each store’s specific characteristics.
  • Lead and Participate in Monthly Floor Set Execution
    • Lead the monthly floor set for both the WB and Prince Street stores, ensuring that all visual elements are executed according to plan. 
    • Actively participate in the process to set a high standard for the team, ensuring that visual presentation is elevated, representing the directives key product stories, well stocked, and aligned with the brand’s visual aesthetic.
  • Develop Merchant Skills of ASLs at Prince Street
    • Work closely with the Assistant Store Leader at the Prince Street location to foster their merchant development skills. 
    • Provide hands-on training during floor set execution, helping them understand how to effectively manage product flow, maintain store presentation, and execute floor sets to standard. 
    • Ensure they have the tools and knowledge to complete successful monthly floor sets independently in the future.
  • Training + Development
    • Build out a team of ambassadors and floor leaders to support visual merchandising and execution. 
    • Provide training to team members on visual standards, merchandising techniques, standards, restock, and product knowledge.

Service + Selling

    • Deliver topline sales through creating a culture of being customer-obsessed, operational excellence, and team development.
    • Create and cultivate a customer-obsessed store culture by leading by example and setting clear expectations. 
    • Lead Selling and Service hours exemplifying strong behaviors in On the Move, With the Team, In the Know, and Owning the Floor.

The Fine Print:

At Everlane, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The hourly pay range for this role is $31.00 - $41.00.
