Vision Plus Developer (CMS, CICS, and Batch Processing)

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Vision Plus Developer with batch processing experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working with Vision Plus, particularly in the CMS and CICS modules. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Software Requirements:

• Proficiency in Vision Plus CMS (Card Management System)
• Experience with Vision Plus CICS (Customer Information Control System)
• Strong understanding of batch processing in Vision Plus

Overall Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Vision Plus applications, focusing on CMS and CICS modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure high-quality coding standards and best practices in Vision Plus development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Vision Plus applications.
• Perform regular system updates and provide support for batch processing activities.
• Stay current with industry trends and new technologies in Vision Plus development.

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with Vision Plus CMS and CICS modules.
• Proficiency in batch processing within Vision Plus.
• Knowledge of mainframe technologies and programming languages.
• Familiarity with database management systems.
• Understanding of software development best practices and methodologies.
• Experience with debugging and performance optimization in Vision Plus.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience as a Vision Plus Developer, focusing on batch processing.
• Proven experience working with Vision Plus CMS and CICS modules.
• Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, preferably in the financial or banking industry.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Develop and maintain Vision Plus applications, focusing on CMS and CICS modules.
• Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Perform batch processing activities and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Vision Plus applications.
• Conduct system updates and maintenance tasks.
• Provide support and guidance to other team members as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Vision Plus development.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Vision Plus development or mainframe technologies are a plus.
