Job Description
The role of the Virtualized Systems Consultant Engineer will involve designing, implementing, and managing virtualized environments to meet organizational goals. You will be dedicated to the RSS-CSM department in Katowice. Responsibilities include optimizing virtual infrastructure, troubleshooting system issues, ensuring scalability, and collaborating with other teams to integrate virtualization technologies.
You will report directly to the Campus Operations Supervisor.
You will work in hybrid work model.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation: Develop and implement virtual infrastructure solutions tailored to organizational needs, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance the performance of virtualized systems, including CPU, memory, and storage
- Troubleshoot: Resolve issues within virtual environments, such as compatibility and performance challenges.
- Disaster Recovery: Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions for virtualized systems.
- Collaboration and Integration: Work with storage and network teams to ensure seamless integration of virtualization technologies
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Hands-on experience designing virtualized environments, including virtual machines, storage, and networks.
- Knowledge of New Technologies
- Familiarity with cloud computing, containerization, and automation tools
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Eagerness to develop in Automation Engineering and to learn new technologies
- Interest in troubleshooting, testing, and improving our products and services
