BASIC FUNCTION:

Under general direction conduct sales activities related to selling group guest rooms and meeting facilities by following Drury Sales Procedures in order to build hotel occupancy and revenues for Drury Hotels.  Works to maintain a high standard of service and hospitality and maximize revenue for the Drury system at all times.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

Requires general knowledge of sales techniques and basic business practices.  Requires ability to speak English and communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.  Requires ability to relate to the public in a warm, friendly and professional manner.  Requires good computer skills to include typing at 40 w.p.m., composition of letters and reports, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.

Requires the ability to provide an approved work at home space, desk, chair, and Internet provider.  Requires the flexibility to travel to the National Sales Office (NSO) as required for work related reasons. Requires that all eligibility requirements and expectations are met per the Virtual National Sales Coordinator program and agreement.
