The Product Governance team within Saxo Bank consists of ten people who make sure Product Governance solutions are in place across the group, so that we are vigilant on ensuring a healthy relationship between the client's situation and their product of choice.
A product governance solution is a conceptual structure and set of rules that outlines how Saxo Bank setups and monitors for the right match between client and product throughout the client journey. This ensures trust in the products or services from relevant stakeholders, including shareholders, investors and the surrounding community. With transparent management processes and a high level of information the client vigilance solutions ensure long-term value creation and return for everybody.
In other words: we ensure transparency across Saxo Bank on how we make sure that we offer the right products to the right clients.
Responsibilities:
In this exciting role you are responsible for collecting information regarding our products from different data points / stakeholders to produce consolidating management reports to:
- Ensure that the management team has proper insight into how product are presented
- Ensure that the management team has proper decision basis and controls for how product shall be presented
- Ensure that characteristics and risks of products are correctly evaluated
- Ensure that the Target Market and Distribution Strategy of the products are correctly identified
- Dependent on the experience and skill set you bring you will also be responsible for insuring that we implement the changes decided by the management team based on your reports
Your profile:
- Master degree in science or economy
- Likes to work with structures, enlighten topics to others and achieve results through coordination
- Has a fact based approach
- Motivated by the idea of working across Marketing, Finance and Sales to ensure Saxo Bank’s governance
Useful skills:
- Understanding financial products and services
- SQL queries and excel analyses
- Writing technical explanations
