We’re in search of a Video Specialist (f/m/d) who can play a pivotal role in creating, what we believe, will be the first MMO of its kind.
You will play a key role in capturing and creating videos that bring SEED’s world to life. From gameplay footage to live-action content, you’ll craft compelling stories about player experiences and the dynamic, emergent world of SEED. Your work will help shape Klang’s visual storytelling, pushing boundaries and breaking free from conventional game videos. You’ll develop an editing style that reflects our unique identity, while also aligning with platform trends to ensure maximum engagement.
So who would you be working with?
This role is part of our Publishing Team, where you’ll collaborate closely with marketing, community, product, design, and audio teams to produce high-quality content for internal communications, owned channels (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Discord), and marketing campaigns.
This role would be based in our Klang HQ in Berlin.
So, what would you be doing?
- In-Game Video Capture: Capture high-quality in-game footage that tells engaging stories about SEED’s emergent world and its characters.
- Live Camera Work: Record live-action content, including in-situ interviews, podcast-style discussions, and event “person on the street” shoots using our onsite studio with basic lighting and equipment.
- Storytelling & Editing: Lead the development of Klang’s editing style for gameplay footage, focusing on creativity, innovation, and storytelling rather than consistency or convention.
- Collaboration: Work with art and creative teams to bring scripts to life, marketing and community teams to align content with strategic goals, and product and design teams to showcase new features.
- Innovation: Identify story arcs within SEED’s living world and find innovative ways to capture and share these narratives.
- Template Creation: Develop templates and workflows (e.g., using Canva or CapCut) to empower non-video experts to create basic video content.
- Platform Alignment: Ensure content aligns with trends and best practices for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, while maintaining Klang’s unique voice and vision
You could be the person we are searching for, if you have…
- Proven experience creating videos using in-game footage, with examples of both short and long-form content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere (experience with After Effects is a plus).
- Experience in live camera work, including interviews and event coverage.
- Familiarity with tools like Canva or CapCut for creating video templates.
- A strong understanding of platform trends and content creation for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

What We Do
Klang is an independent game development studio based in Berlin. It was founded by three Icelanders in the spring of 2013.
In July 2015, Klang launched its first project, ReRunners: Race for the World, for iOS and Android devices, which was extremely well-received by both the gaming press and the gaming community.
Now, Klang is working on its next project, Seed, a simulation MMO utilizing SpatialOS technology
