Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a graduate of any business-related course.
- With at least 8 years relevant banking experience in Trade Finance Operations (Import, Export, LC, Guarantees, etc.)
- With knowledge of bank products and services including different payment channels and regulatory requirements.
- Must be active in collaborating with relevant units to achieve operational efficiency and support new product development.
- With in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirement on import-export transactions.
- Preferably in a leadership role and an experienced Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee Trade Finance operations including reports and compliance requirements.
- Ensures accurate and timely review of trade finance documents and verification of trade finance transactions.
- Actively collaborates with product offices and Compliance team to introduce new products.
- Review relevant supporting documentation based on local and global regulations.
- Observe strict compliance to established bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements and manage/mitigate risks in trade finance operations.
- Approves necessary reports as applicable.
- Performs effective end-of-day activities.
- Monitors team performance, mentor and manage subordinates. Create strategic staff planning including training and development.
