Position Overview:
We are seeking an innovative and visionary Vice President of Technology to lead our engineering, data, and product departments. This strategic role is pivotal in driving the development and delivery of cutting-edge telehealth solutions. The VP will oversee a team of talented engineers, data scientists & analysts, technologists, and product managers, aligning their efforts to create scalable, efficient, and customer-focused telehealth products.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams, a deep understanding of telehealth technology, and a strong product management background. They will play a critical role in shaping the future of our technology and product strategies, ensuring seamless integration of innovation and market demands.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute comprehensive technology and product initiatives aligned with the company's vision and growth objectives in telehealth.
  • Lead the engineering, data, and product teams to deliver innovative, user-centric solutions.
  • Collaborate with C-suite executives to align technology and product initiatives with business goals.

Engineering and Technology Oversight

  • Oversee all engineering efforts, including software development, infrastructure, and system architecture for a D2C telehealth platform.
  • Drive the implementation of secure, scalable, and reliable systems while adhering to healthcare compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Resource and delivery plan for engineering projects.

Product Management

  • Manage the product lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring the alignment of product roadmaps with customer needs and market trends.
  • Partner with stakeholders across clinical, operations, and marketing teams to prioritize features and enhancements that drive growth and engagement.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Team Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing engineering, data, technology, and product teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Set clear goals, performance expectations, and professional development opportunities for team members.

Project Execution and Delivery

  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of technology and product initiatives, meeting quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in engineering and product development processes.

You will likely have:

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering, technology, and product leadership roles, with a focus on telehealth or healthcare technology.
  • 5+ years of recent experience in a VP function over a technology group.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale technical projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and product management frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Passion for innovation and driving change in the healthcare industry.
