Brown Brothers Harriman is currently looking for a strategic and client-focused Product Solutions Lead to help drive revenue growth for our Infomediary® Data Solutions (IDS) business. IDS offers a suite of solutions for BBH clients in the data and digital space leveraging our Infomediary platform, which brings together our data management technology and managed services to help clients take full command of their data. Infomediary Data Solutions makes data useable for businesses by designing, building, and maintaining custom master data domains that drive the processes and systems that run our client’s operating models.
The Product Solutions Lead will oversee the Product Solutions pillar within the Data Product Growth & Innovation Team which is responsible for creating data-driven product roadmaps to unlock value and growth. The Product Solutions pillar is responsible for the strategic direction, management, and commercial success of BBH’s Data Product capabilities, and it is in-charged of identifying new sources of revenue by increasing and enhancing our product offerings, broadening the range of clients we engage with, and fostering collaborations with third- party entities in the market. To be successful in this role, the Product Solutions Lead will require a deep understanding of the financial services industry and market trends to help influence our product roadmaps.
Overall Responsibilities & Areas of Focus
Product Vision and Growth Strategy
- Drive the product vision and growth strategy for IDS’s Data Product suite to reach new clients, segments and markets.
- Create a relevant and differentiated product capability which can be profitable and scalable.
- Uncovered, designed and developed high-impact use-cases that generate new growth.
- Generate comprehensive research and data analysis on product growth strategy from clients and prospects; inclusive of market testing (Innovation hub)
- Collaborate with various key stakeholders in the business, including the Sales and Relationship Excellence organization InServ Strategy, Marketing, Voice of Client and the Product Development organization to curate the capability and Go to Market strategy and to define the requisite technology solutions.
- Wide-range engagement with clients and prospects, inclusive of attending conferences, publishing thought-leadership and opportunities to discuss data strategy with client leaders.
- Develop a global product offering with consistent operating models, marketing, pricing, services etc.
- Ensure that product development is aligned to industry developments and client strategic direction.
- Ensure that all client facing staff are aware of new features and changes to the products.
- Work with marketing to develop and maintain relevant collateral.
- Work with peers across the Data Solutions Product team to ensure our data products meet the needs of clients, anticipates where possible future trends and requirements, and is consistent with other Investment Operations and BBH products.
- Develop BBH's brand, reputation, and recognition in the marketplace as Data Management services provider.
Leadership & Talent Development
- Focus on the growth and talent development of the team analysts to meet the evolving needs of the IDS model and strategic objectives by identifying required capabilities, development platforms and training needs.
- Lead efforts to clearly identify development and career paths within the organization.
- Promote development through mentoring, coaching, and establishing annual goal setting and professional development targets.
- Role model inclusive behaviors that demonstrate commitment to a workplace that values diversity of thought, background, and perspective
Qualifications:
- 10+ Prior Experience within the Financial Services industry, preferably 5+ years within an asset manager's front or middle office.
- 5+ years of product management experience.
- Successfully managed and led a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Strong aptitude for numbers, accuracy, and organization.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Ability to plan and prioritize workload effectively.
- Ability to manage and build trust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to multiple IT and Information Systems.
